Select EXTERNAL CANDIDATES APPLY HERE (unless you are already employed by PSC or WVU)
Select Keyser in the left column (You may have to click on "Show more..." under Worksite).
Once you find a position you are interested in applying for, click on Apply on the right side of the list or click on the job title for more details. Once you’ve clicked apply, you will need to sign into your WVUHIRE account. If you are an internal applicant, you can sign in using your MyAccess Login.
If you are an external applicant, and do not have an account please click the New User button and complete the required information to create your profile. You will need to read the privacy agreement and click "I Accept". You can either upload a resume to fill in information regarding your work experience or type everything in the required fields. All sections with a red asterisk (*) must be completed. If you need to stop before completing the entire application, click “Save as draft” at the top and/or bottom of the page you are on.
There are various sections that must be completed when you originally register before you can be considered for any positions. Once you have finished all of these, you will need to read the statement on the e-signature page and enter your full name to sign your application. You can now review and/or edit your profile. Once you are satisfied that everything is correct, please click SUBMIT and you will see a screen showing that your application is completed. To apply for future openings, you will only need to log in to your profile and make any necessary updates. You can also log back in at any time to check the status of positions you have applied for.

Potomac State College, a Division of West Virginia University located in Keyser, West Virginia, seeks qualified candidates committed to excellence in teaching and service at the undergraduate level in the following areas:
-Instructor or assistant professor faculty position in Business Management, this is a full-time, 9 month tenure-track with a start date of January 1, 2016. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory, intermediate, and advanced business management based undergraduate courses leading to associate and baccalaureate degrees in Business Management. The successful hire will serve as coordinator of the programs. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise to lead the faculty in the development of one or more unique program areas, such as, entrepreneurship, student-based business incubation, international business administration, or other arena to enhance enrollment.
- PhD or DBA in business or closely related field – preferred
- An MBA from a regionally accredited college or university – considered
- Preferential consideration will be given to candidates who have prior college-level teaching experience, experience in program leadership and accreditation, and business related work experience.
- A record of commitment to excellence in teaching, service, and academic advising at the undergraduate level.
- A commitment to professional growth and development in the “scholarship of teaching” (e.g. effective instructional methodologies that actively engage students in the learning process).
- A basic understanding and commitment to data-driven teaching and continuous improvement decisions based on course and program-level assessment.
- Experience with technology in the classroom and a commitment to online (hybrid and full-course) instruction and program development.
- A commitment to work with faculty and the administration to earn a national-level business-related program accreditation.
- A commitment to teach at all Potomac State College off-campus locations.

Adjunct Faculty Positions

Adjunct Instructors at PSC are expected to teach undergraduate courses and engage in teaching practices with an acute focus on documenting student learning. A master’s degree in the appropriate field is required or relevant certification for some disciplines. Founded in 1901, Potomac State College of West Virginia University (WVU) is a baccalaureate degree granting institution providing associate of arts, associate of applied science, and bachelor of applied science degrees. The historic mission of the college is in undergraduate teaching, learning, and student success with 2+2 career paths to over 50-related baccalaureate degree programs at WVU-Morgantown.
