Potomac State Orientation (PSO)

Potomac State Orientation Events are opportunities for admitted students to visit campus and to take the next step toward enrollment:

  •     One-on-one meetings with academic advisors for discussion of your academic plans
  •     Creation of your schedule of classes for the fall 2015 semester
  •     Question and answer sessions with student support services staff and athletic department staff
  •     Individual meetings with financial aid staff to discuss your financial aid package at Potomac State
  •     Opportunities to tour campus
  •     Meetings with housing and residence life staff for questions and to make a reservation for your room in one of our residence halls
  •     All students attending a Potomac State Orientation (PSO) will be required to take the Potomac State Math Placement Exam.
  •     English placement will be made based on the student's ACT or SAT score.

To register to attend a Potomac State Orientation Event, you may complete the online  Campus Visit Form or contact the Office of Enrollment Services at 800.262.7332 or  304.788.6820.   Please remember that you must have applied and been admitted at Potomac State before attending a PSO event.
