HORT 293J Stepping Into Grapes and Grains
Learn the fundamentals of fermentation, what grapes and fruits are available, what wine is, and the difference between lagers and ales. This workshop will explore and develop the basic knowledge and skills the participants need to establish their own home production of wines and beers. Participants must be 21 years of age or older.

HTOR 162 Topics in Fine Dining
Practices associated with fine dining are studied. Topics and activities include the preparation and presentation of gourmet foods, table preparation, and serving procedures.

HTOR 293 Power Grilling
Learn the techniques of a grill master by enrolling in "Power Grilling." Topics will include knowing the difference between grilling and barbequing; preparing various cuts of meat, fish, and vegetables; temperature and time recommendations; sauces and marinades, and a whole lot more. Chef Thomas Vieli will be directing the new addition to our special interest courses. PE 153 Yoga for Fitness
Recommended for students with previous yoga practice, this section of Yoga for Fitness will help fine tune your practice of basic and more challenging poses. There will be an emphasis on building a combination of strength, flexibility and balance. This class will also help increase energy and focus with the introduction of advanced breathing techniques. The pace of this class will be moderate.

PE 293 Pilates
Pilates is a non-impact system of exercise that concentrates on the muscles of the abdomen and spine. We will strengthen, tighten, and lengthen the muscles while protecting the lower back. In addition, we will couple fluid movement with the breath, reducing stress and tension. This course will eliminate stress on the joints, making it safe, versatile, and effective for all ages and fitness levels.

PE 293 Zumba
Zumba is a fun way to work out. Zumba blends Latin music and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program. Routines feature interval training where fast and slow rhythms are combined with resistance training so as to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. So, ditch the workout and join the party.
