Catch the Excitement of the Divisional Campus of WVU College Athletics

Through a small, supportive environment, Potomac State College has a lot to offer student athletes. The campus provides a family-like atmosphere in which students are able to receive one-on-one attention in the classroom.  Students are also given the chance to play their first two years of college rather than sitting the bench. Potomac State College gives athletes the experience, understanding and exposure to help them enhance their future.

The Catamounts winning history in athletics includes six National Championship appearances in baseball, winning the National Title in 1995. Also, the women's basketball team has ranked in the top 10 in the NJCAA Division II poll and has had several players listed as statistical leaders in the nation. The men's golf team has had individual National Championship appearances. And our Lady Catamounts volleyball team is frequently ranked as an NJCAA statistical leader.

PSC fields competitive teams in 8 intercollegiate sports. Recruitment to all teams is governed by the National Junior College Athletics Association. For more information contact Potomac State College at (304) 788-6879 or 1-800-262-7332.

Enjoy First Class Facilities

Golden Park is the baseball team's home and features one of the finest views in all of college baseball. Also, Lough gymnasium's renovated gym floor and expanded weight room are considered to be some of the best facilities in the region. The softball team inherited the baseball team's former field and the men's golf team has a beautiful 9-hole, par 34 championship course a few miles down the road from the campus. The soccer teams have access to lighted Stayman Field for its home games and a practice field for practice sessions. Additionally, our athletic programs offer a training room with a full-time trainer.
