Bushey fires 78 in final round; named honorable mention All-American

Scottsboro, Ala. — Chris Bushey finished 25th after four strong days at the NJCAA National Golf Tournament, which was good enough to be named as an Honorable Mention All-American for Potomac State College.

 

After back to back sizzling rounds of 69 and 71, Bushey was unable to follow up those rounds with another stellar round, but was still able to stay in contention with a round of 78 on the final day of competition.

 

Potomac State as a team fired a 327 on the final day of the National Tournament. As a team the Catamounts finished as the 15th team in the tournament.

 

Kyle Hudgins shot a final round of 80 which finished him up with a total score of 307, finishing 19 over par which was good enough to tie him for 66th place.

 

Jordan Schneider shot an 81 to finish + 33 and Mitch O’Shell shot an 88 to end up at +45.
