Baseball: Potomac State doubles up Garrett 10-5

Keyser, WV- Potomac State used a big inning and timely hitting to double up Garrett College on Wednesday afternoon at a sunny Golden Park.

Andrew Kowalo, Daniel Kerwin and Matt Maiers each drove two runs apiece as the Catamounts banged out ten hits.

Kyler Brown picked up the win for PSC with six innings of work. The sophomore struck out three and allowed just three hits, to raise his record to 2-0 on the year.

Heath Shultz blasted a three-run home run for the Lakers.

Fraser Brown singled and doubled for PSC, while Matt Jeffery and DeJhard Kimbrough each drove in a run.

Maiers worked the final inning and 2/3 to pick up his first save of the season.

Potomac State, 7-3 will play host to St. Clair Community College for four game series this weekend at Golden Park.
