Baseball: Potomac State throttles Hagerstown 13-3

Keyser, WV- Brandon Gochenour pitched six innings and struck out nine to lead Potomac State past Hagerstown Community College 13-3 Saturday afternoon at Golden Park.

After allowing a first inning run, Gochenour did not allow another run to raise his record to 5-2.  The freshman scattered seven hits in six innings of work and did not walk a batter.

Justin Palmer went 3-4 with a double, two singles and two RBI’s.

In all, PSC banged out 16 hits, with six Catamounts with two hits apiece.  David Delawder drove in three runs, while Matt Jeffery and Tyler Skidmore drove in two runs each.

Potomac State, now 26-20, travels to Cecil College on Sunday for a doubleheader to end the regular season.
