FLORENCE, S.C. — For the second weekend in a row, Potomac State won the final game of their South Carolina trip to salvage the weekend.

Henshaw walked and scored on a groundout by Bonadio in the sixth, and Brandon Gochenour reached on an error and came home on a sacrifice fly by Joe LaRocca in the seventh to extend the lead to 5-2.

Bonadio finished 2 for 3 with a run scored and two RBIs for the Cats. Gochenour had two singles.

Jeff Wong got the win with four shutout innings of relief. He allowed two hits, walked none and struck out three. Michael Livingston struck out four over the first three innings.
