Baseball: Catamounts sweep pair of games over CCAC-South

Keyser, WV- Jeff Wong struck out seven CCAC-South hitters and allowed just three hits as Potomac State won the nightcap 11-0 in a sweep on Thursday at Golden Park. Wong raised his record to 3-0 on the year as the right-hander allowed just three hits.
Brandon Gochenour drove in three runs with a single and a home run to lead PSC offensively. Dominic Peroni and David Delawder also drove in runs for the Catamounts who improve to 8-5.
In the opener game Andrue Hughart evened his record to 2-2 with seven strikeouts and just one unearned run as PSC won 5-1.
Potomac State scored all five runs in the bottom of the third inning that was highlighted by hits from Peroni, Gochenour , Joe LaRocca and Bryce Crawford.
The catamounts weekend series with St. Clair County has been postponed. Potomac State will play next on Friday March 17th against Cuyhaoga Community College at home.
