Baseball: Potomac State sweeps pair from St. Clair County

Keyser, WV- Josh Zeboskey pitched three solid innings in relief to help lift Potomac State to a 9-8 win in the opening game of a double header at Golden Park on Sunday.

The sophomore southpaw struck out seven of the 16 batters he faced and allowed just two unearned runs as PSC rallied from a two-run deficit to pull off the win.

Alex Taylor homered for the Catamounts and Juwuan Weaver and Zach Musgrove each drove in two runs.

PSC took advantage of two balks and three wild pitches in the fifth inning.

The Catamounts cruised in game two 11-0 led by back-to-back 1st inning home runs from Juwuan Weaver and Dominic Peroni.

Brett Whiteman threw a 5-inning complete game allowing just one hit and striking out 10 Skippers batters to improve to 3-1 on the year.

Pete Costigan and Austin Chavis each had two hits for PSC.

Potomac State improves to 13-4 and has won 9-straight games.  They will travel to Wye Mills, MD on Wednesday for a key Region XX game with Chesapeake College.
