Rawlings Sporting Goods continues to be Official Equipment provider for Potomac State Baseball.
Potomac State Baseball has re-signed an agreement with Rawlings Sporting Goods, which is the official supplier for Major League Baseball, which will continue to make Rawlings the exclusive equipment supplier for the Catamounts. Potomac State baseball first became affiliated with Rawlings in the 2006 season. The new agreement makes Rawlings the "exclusive" supplier of aluminum and wood bats, player bags, baseballs, helmets and catcher's gear for the Potomac State Baseball Team. The Catamounts have won eight Region XX Championships in the last 10 years and made three straight trips to the Junior College World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado in 2004, 2005 and 2006. "Rawlings is a name that is recognized around the baseball world and we are proud to continue this partnership with them," Potomac State Head Coach Doug Little said. "We are very appreciative of the efforts of Rawlings the past five years and know that this is another step in taking our program to the elite level." The new deal is a two-year agreement and will mean that the Catamounts will be swinging the 5150 Series bats exclusively the next two seasons. Potomac State is just one of 31 schools at any level to be featured on the Rawlings 5150 Micro website. The all new 5150 Series from Rawlings has been tested and formulated for increased flex and higher strength. By doing so, an unmatched combination of trampoline and durability has been achieved. This exciting new design from Rawlings will deliver game changing performance. The new 5150 Series is extremely balanced for maximum swing speed and improved bat control. Rawlings has introduced Sci-Fly technology with their development of this year's line. Rawlings is a major supplier to professional, collegiate, interscholastic and amateur organizations worldwide, including the Official Baseball Supplier to Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball. | |||||
