In 2009, Coach Lupis will begin his fifth year at Potomac State College of WVU, joining Coach Little's staff before the 2005 season.

In his time Potomac State has gone 143-52 with two consecutive trips to the Junior College World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado in 2005 and 2006.

Lupis serves as the Catamounts outfield instructor and bullpen coach. 

In 2000, while a player for Little and Schafer, Lupis hit .364 with seven doubles and two home runs for Potomac State.

Lupis is a native of Fairfax, Virginia.
