Catamounts Earn Post-Season Honors
Colorado Springs , CO ýThe NJCAA has announced post-season awards for All-Region and All-District. Potomac State College has several players on the Region XX and Eastern District teams.
J.T. Osburn, who was named 2nd team All-American was named to both teams and was named the winner of the Eastern District Rawlings Big-Stick award. This is the 2nd straight year that a player from Potomac State has won that award. Jeff Miller won the award last season.
Joining Osburn on the Region XX team were Bill Wooten, Justin Dailey, Pat Adkins and Brent Lockhart.
Wooten joins Osburn on the Eastern District team.
Lockhart was also named to the 2005 JUCO World Series All-Tournament team. Lockhart hit .555 in three games scored seven runs and threw out a runner at the plate in Potomac Stateýs 12-6 win on Sunday night.
