Potomac State to play opening game of 2011 Junior College World Series

Grand Junction, CO- Potomac State College, who will be playing in their fourth D1 Junior College World Series in last eight years will open the 2011 JUCO series by playing the opening game against Jefferson College, (MO) at Suplizio Field.

 

Potomac State is 2-1 in their first games of the JUCO World Series. In 2004, the Catamounts dropped the opening game to Middle Georgia College by a 4-2 score. In 2005, Potomac State downed St. Petersburg College, (FL) 12-6 and in 2006 PSC won their opener over South Suburban College, (IL) 4-2.
