Keyser, WV- After spotting the visiting Tigers a 9-0 lead, Potomac State rallied in the opening game of a twin bill at Golden Park for a 12-10 win.

Every Catamount starter had at least one hit with T.J. Weisenburg leading the way with two singles and a double. Zach Markel drove in three runs with a two-run double and a sacrifice fly. Ryan LaRose and Steve Miele each drove in two runs apiece as the Catamounts banged out 14 hits in the opening game.

Ryan Conner picked up his first win in relief for PSC. The sophomore worked 4 1/3 innings, striking out six CCAC-South hitters, and allowed just one run. Michael Drye closed out the game to pick up his first save.

"We certainly did not make it easy on ourselves," said Potomac State Head Coach Doug Little. "But our guys battled and Ryan (Conner) did a great job of holding them down and it allowed our hitters to get us back in the game."

In the nightcap, PSC's Brendan Miller struck out eleven of the 20 hitters he faced as the burly righthander picked up the win. Miller allowed just two hits to even his record at 1-1.

Miele, who came in from his usual rightfield position, worked the final two innings and picked up the save.

Markel, Miele, and Mike Eisel drove in runs for the Catamounts who improve to 2-4.

Potomac State will travel to Greenville, NC for a three game series with Pitt Community College starting with a 1PM DH on Saturday and a single 9-inning game on Sunday.
