Potomac State Baseball picks up road sweep at CCAC-South

Pittsburgh, PA- Scott Fox struck out nine and pitched a complete game in the nightcap lifting Potomac State to a 6-4 win and a sweep over CCAC-South Thursday afternoon at Clairton Park.
The left-handed freshman allowed just one earned run and walked just one Tiger hitter to pick up his first win of the season.
Ryan LaRose, T.J. Weisenburg and Zach Markel drove in runs for PSC.
In the opening game PSC got three-hit efforts from Zach Stolipher, Ryan LaRose and Ryan Conner to win 11-9. Conner hit his third home run of the year in the second inning on a curve ball that got Potomac State on the board.
Stolipher drove in three runs, while Conner and Jake Potter both drove in two runs apiece.
Tanner Everton worked five innings for the Catamounts and picked up the win to raise his record to4-1. The southpaw struck out three and walked two.
Potomac State is on the road both days this weekend. On Saturday Potomac State travels to Winchester, Va. for a noon doubleheader with Shenandoah University. On Sunday the Catamounts travel to Wye Mills, Md for a key Region XX matchup. The 9-inning game on Sunday begins at 2PM.
