Fox leads Potomac State Baseball past Catonsville 13-4

Keyser, WV- Scott Fox pulled a little double-duty for Potomac State on Wednesday afternoon at Golden Park as the sophomore pitched seven inning and picked up a pair of hits to lead PSC past Catonsville 13-4.

Fox raised his record to 4-0, striking out four and scattering six hits.  He also helped his own cause at the plate with a 2-4 day with two runs batted, a run scored and a stolen base.

David Kimbrough and Adam Meeker each added two hits for Potomac State and Jamison Jones drove in four runs with a triple, sacrifice fly and a groundout.

Elliott McCummings drove in two runs for PSC with a sacrifice fly and a double.

Kenny Linereo added a solo home run for CCBC Catonsville whose record fell to 17-8. 

Ryan Wagner took the loss for the Cardinals, allowing five runs in three innings of work.

Jamie Miller worked a perfect sixth and seventh inning for Potomac State.

PSC, 14-10 will face Catonsville again on Thursday for a 2PM single 9-inning game.
