Keyser, WV- Potomac State freshman Sam Vincenzo pitched a five-inning perfect game in the opening game of PSC’s sweep over Westmoreland County Community College Sunday afternoon at a sunny Golden Park.

Vincenzo struck out seven as he faced the minimum as Potomac State rolled to a 10-0 win.

Tre Porter led the Catamount offense with two single, a sacrifice fly and three runs driven in.  Scott Fox also drove in three runs as Potomac State banged out thirteen hits in five innings.

David Kimbrough went 3-3 and Elliott McCummings drove in two runs.

In game two Scott Fox drilled a three-run home run in the first inning to lead PSC to an 8-4 win.

Tre Porter added a two run double and both Jamison Jones and Tre Kerns added RBI’s for the Catamounts.

Mike Eisel worked five innings on the mound to pick up the win.  The sophomore struck out four, walking one to improve to 2-0.

Potomac State, 19-10, begins a road trip on Wednesday when they head to West Virginia Wesleyan.  Then they head to Garrett College for a single game on Friday and then a twin bill on Saturday.  On Sunday the Catamounts go to Hagerstown Community College for a key Region XX game
