Potomac State Baseball wraps up regular season with sweep

Catamounts have three pitchers combine on no-hitter in game two

Washington, PA- Potomac State swept a pair of games over CCAC-South on Sunday by scores of 11-9 and 7-1 to wrap up the regular season at Consol Energy Park.

Potomac State is now 35-14 and will be the number one seed for the Region XX Tournament that begins on Friday at Hagerstown.

In Game one Potomac State held an 11-1 lead into the sixth inning before South rallied back with three runs in the sixth and five in the seventh.

David Kimbrough lead the Catamounts with a single and two triples, three runs scored and an RBI.

Tanner Everton worked four innings to pick up the win. He struck out four to improve to 7-3.

Alex Levitan drove in two runs, with Connar Bastaich, Frankie Wilson and Mike Eisel each driving in a run.

In game two, Jamie Miller, Josh McKown and Mike Eisel combined on a no-hitter. South picked up an unearned run in the sixth.

Frankie Wilson went 2-3 with a single and a two-run home run, driving in three runs. Elliott McCummings, Jamison Jones, and Alex Levitan each drove in run for PSC.
