Potomac State swings back to pick up split at Cecil

North East, MD- Potomac State had their highest run total of the season in the nightcap at Cecil College on Wednesday as they cruised to a 10-0 win to pick up the win.

Jamie Miller picked up the win on the mound as he, Mason Fordyce and Josh McKown combined on the shutout. The trio of Catamount pitchers struck out eight Cecil hitters and walked none.

Ron Musto and Elliot McCummings both hit two-run home runs to pace the Offensive attack. Tre Porter added two runs batted in with a single and a triple.

In game one, Cecil's Jordan Santak pitched six innings and struck out eleven PSC hitters to pick up the win in Cecil's 7-6 win.

Frankie Wilson and Mike Eisel both drove in two runs apiece for Potomac State.

Colby Vanoy took the loss in the final inning after Potomac State rallied to tie the game at six with two runs in the sixth inning.

PSC, (5-7) will next play Mercyhurst NE at Golden Park for a four-game series. The games originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday have been moved up to Friday and Saturday.

On Friday a double header will begin at 1:00p.m. First pitch on Saturday is scheduled for noon.
