Potomac State gears up for four-game tourney in South Carolina

Florence, SC- For the second straight weekend, the Potomac State Baseball team will be traveling to Florence, SC for week two of the Pepsi Invitational hosted by Florence Darlington-Tech.

The Catamounts will face the host team, FDT in the opening game at 5:00PM on Friday. Last weekend the Stingers downed PSC 3-1 behind a strong effort on the mound from Jared Cheek.

On Saturday, Potomac State will have another rematch. This time facing off with Cecil College. The Seahawks downed PSC last weekend 3-2 behind the right arm of Cody Albright who struck out 10 PSC hitters.

In the second game for PSC on Saturday they will meet USC-Lancaster for the first time in school history.

On Sunday another new opponent for the Catamounts as they meet Heartland Community College from Illionois.

All games will be played at Sparrow Stadium on the Campus of Francis Marion University.
