Keyser, WV- Potomac State has picked the right time to get hot.  In fact the Catamounts have been hot enough to rattle off a fourteen game win streak as the regular season is quickly winding down.

A steady offensive attack led PSC to a sweep over Monroe College by scores of 10-8 and 15-5.

Dalton Westfall worked 5 1/3 innings to pick up the win.  The freshman struck out six to raise his record to 5-2.  Jamie Miller worked the final 1 1/3 innings to garner his first save of the year.  Miller struck out two and did not allow a run to close the game.

In game two, Monroe jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead highlighted by Hector Marmol’s two-run single.

The Catamounts battled back with five runs in the third and six runs in the fourth to take an 11-4.  Doubles from Billy Sager and Tre Porter and a triple from Adam Meeker helped the Catamounts take the lead.
