Baseball: Offense leads Catamounts to sweep over Cecil

North East, MD- Potomac State banged out 25 hits during a doubleheader sweep over Cecil College by scores of 16-14 and 9-6 on Saturday afternoon. 

In game one PSC raced out to a 12-0 lead and held off a Cecil rally that tied the game at 14 all to hold on for a two-run win.

Tre Porter led PSC with three hits, including a three-run home run.  Elliott McCummings and Jamison Jones also homered for the Catamounts as they finished the game with 16 hits.

Drew Hemminger worked the final 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to pick up the win for PSC.

In game two Connar Bastaich hit his third home run of the season and MCummings delivered two doubles as Potomac State improved to 19-9-1.

Ethan Emmart picked up the win with five innings of work.  The sophomore stuck out just one, but was able to deliver three scoreless innings.  Kyler Brown worked the final two innings to pick up the win.
