Potomac State Baseball announces three winter baseball camps to be held in January

Potomac State Baseball Winter Camps

Potomac State Baseball will be holding their 17th annual indoor winter hitting camps on the campus of Potomac State College on January 19th and 24th. This winter will also include the addition of a one-day pitching camp to be held on January 31st.

These camps are an incredible chance for players to improve their skills and get a jump start on their upcoming seasons.

In addition, HITTING CAMP II is a great opportunity for high school players that are interested in attending Potomac State, so that PSC coaches can evaluate their skill level and players can see all that Potomac State College has to offer their student-athletes.

Camp Goals :
Join the coaches and players at Potomac State College and learn the latest in hitting and pitching techniques during these one day intensive camps. Instructors leading this camp will focus on preparing players to compete at a high level. Learn the basics of being a successful hitter with lessons on mechanics of the swing, hitting and bunting drills, developing a plan, and mental skills to take to each at bat. Pitchers will learn the lessons to become a complete pitcher, including mechanics, arm care and throwing strikes.  Our purpose is to provide each camper with the instruction and encouragement needed to develop individual skills to a greater level.

(Make checks payable to: Potomac State Baseball)

Campers will be divided by age and skill level. Due to limited enrollment, pre-registration is strongly encouraged. For hitting camps, all campers should bring baseball bats, batting gloves, batting helmets, tennis shoes for indoor use, caps and uniform pants or clothes suitable for play. For pitching camp
