Men's Basketball: Potomac State goes 2-1 in Ben Williams Classic
The Potomac State Men's Basketball team wrapped a busy and intense weekend at the Ben Williams Classic in Baltimore. The Catamounts went 2-1 and broke the century mark twice to improve to 8-4.

BALTIMORE — Baltimore City held on despite a furious comeback by Potomac State in the Ben Williams Classic Friday night in Baltimore.
Potomac State started hot, getting out to a 14-2 lead. Baltimore City then went on a huge run, led by 17 points from Theo West, to take a 58-39 lead into halftime.
After a half time line-up change, Potomac State battled back with Jaron Farrell scoring 12 points in the first 10 minutes of the second half and Mike Hatfield scoring 10 points over the same stretch. Baltimore City survived, points, to advance to the championship game.
West finished with 29 points on the night and Zasir Williams scored 21 for Baltimore City.
Ishmail Sesay led Potomac State with 24, Hatfield totaled 23 and Farrell ended up with 14.
Potomac State falls to 6-4 after dropping two in a row.

BALTIMORE — Potomac State won for the second day in a row at the Ben Williams Classic at Baltimore City Community College 101-76 over Dundalk on Saturday.
Potomac State set the pace with 56 first half points to take an 18-point lead into the locker room.
They went on to score over 100 points for the second time in as many days and pulled away for a 25-point win.
Potomac State had five scorers in double figures including: Ishmail Sesay with 19, Carlton Johnson tallying 17, Peyton Hartman with 15, Carlton Drake adding 12 and Mike Hatfield scoring 10.

BALTIMORE — Micah Parker three-point goals and scored 18 points to lead Potomac State to a 73-67 victory over Catonsville in the final day of the Ben Williams Classic at Baltimore City Community College.
The win made the Catamounts 2-1 in the three-day tourney, after a 104-102 loss to Baltimore City and a 101-76 rout of Dundalk.

Carlton Johnson added 15 points, Mike Hatfield had 13 and Ishmail Sesay had 10 for Potomac State. Willie Kee led Catonsville (3-9) with 13 points. Potomac State (8-4) will be idle until hosting Cecil on Jan. 12.
