Potomac State Men fall at Rockville
ROCKVILLE, MD — Alim Stewart scored 21 points and Eric Satchell had 20 to lead Montgomery-rockville to an 88-84 win over nationally-ranked Potomac State in junior college men’s basketball Sunday afternoon.
Ishmail Sesay led six Potomac State scorers in double figures with a gamehigh 22 points. Carlton Johnson had 19 points, Jaron Farrell 11, Peyton Hartman 10 points, 14 rebounds and four blocked shots, and Micah Parker and Mike Hatfield 10 points.
But the Catamounts (6-2) struggled a bit in trying to overcome a 16-day break between games and were unable to overcome an 18-for-38 showing from the foul line.
Coach Shawn White’s Catamounts are ranked No. 11 in the latest NJCAA Division II poll.
The Catamounts play again Tuesday at Southern Maryland.
