Men's Basketball: Chase leads Potomac State over NOVA

Catamounts improve to 9-5 with 86-78 victory

KEYSER, W.V. — George Chase scored 24 points, Peyton Hartman had 16 and Reggie Baker 11 to spark Potomac State to an 86-78 victory over Northern Virginia in junior college men’s basketball Thursday night.

Chase hit nine field goals, four from beyond the three-point line, and two free throws to lead the Catamounts.

Eloka Olisa, Michael Hatfield and Teko-Ag’bo all had eight points for Potomac State, which clicked on offense all night. They scored 45 points in the first half and 41 in the second.

Simeon Kilday led all scorers with 26 points and made three of Northern Virginia’s eight three-point goals.

Potomac State (9-5) hosts CCAC-Allegheny in a Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference game on Saturday at 2 p.m.
