Men’s Basketball: Baker leads Potomac State past Pack
KEYSER, W.V. — Reggie Baker scored 23 points to lead Potomac State past Westmoreland as the Catamounts finished off a seven-game home stretch with an 86-66 win over Westmoreland in Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference action Saturday afternoon.
Potomac State (10-6, 4-1 WPCC) did most of the heavy work in the first half, holding the Wolfpack to 25 points to take a 43-25 lead. The Cats were able to cruise to victory in the second half, keeping a 20-point lead for most of the second half.
Baker finished as one of four PSC players in double figures as Carlton Drake scored 14, George Chase added 13 and Jaron Farrell 10.
Andy Carter scored a game-high 36 points for the Wolfpack. Jordan Ruggiero finished with 22.
Potomac State stays in conference but takes to the road when it plays at Penn Highlands on Monday.
