Men's Basketball: Chase leads Catamounts past Westmoreland

YOUNGWOOD, Pa. — George Chase poured in 26 points to lead four scorers in double figures and lead Potomac State past Westmoreland 82-64 in nearly a month.

Chase hit 11 field goals and two free throws to lead all scorers for the Catamounts (3-1, 0-1 Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Conference).

Carlton Drake added 15 points and Mike Hatfield and Cedrick Dwyer 12 for Potomac State.

Andy Carter, who went 12 for 13 from the foul line, had a game-high 32 points for Westmoreland.

The game was the first for Potomac State since a 76-64 win over Prince George’s on Dec. 15.

The Catamounts play at Essex on Monday at 7 p.m.
