Men’s Basketball: Catamounts push win streak to three

Krishaun Myers tallied a game-high 33 points, and Desmond Chandler had a double-double of 14 rebounds and 10 points to lead Potomac State to its third win in a row over Howard by a score of 88-72.

Myers sank three three pointers, 10 total field goals and was 10 of 17 from the line for a 33-point outing. Dante Campbell added 10 points and Quincy Miller had 16 points. Campbell, Myers and Miller all had six rebounds each and Miller also had six assists.

The Catamounts (4-1) built a double-digit lead on the Dragons in the first half, led 47-30 at halftime and continued that lead through the second half.

Vasquez had 16 points in the loss. Brown added 14.

On Thursday the Cats breezed to a 106-64 win over Harrisburg Area College with five players scoring in double figures. T.J. Still led with 18 points, K.K. Watts added 17 and Dante Campbell had 13. Jalen Oxendine and Chandler had 10 points each.

Potomac State will play at home Tuesday against Catonsville.
