Keyser, WV: Potomac State Men’s Basketball Coach Justin Anderson knows that in order to match last year’s success his teams needs to be playing well late in the season. The only problem with that is that his Catamounts can’t play much better than they are right now.

“Our guys have been working hard in practice, “said Anderson. “We preach effort and hard work and right now we are getting it- we just need to keep it going.”

Potomac State pushed their record to 15-5, including winning their last eight games, with an 87-78 win over CCAC-Allegany Monday night in the Lough Gymnasium.

Jamal Ferguson led PSC with 14 points, including an impressive 11 points from the free throw line. Krishaun Myers continued his hot play with 11 points.

PSC was deadly from behind the three-point line as well, as the outshot Allegheny by a 12-2 margin.

The Catamounts will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to face CCAC-Boyce. The Cats return home the next day to take on Westmoreland County Community College at 7:00 p.m.
