Men’s Basketball: No. 18 ranked PSC owns Howard

COLUMBIA, MD — Tyrell Edmiston scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to power nationally-ranked Potomac State to a 65-49 victory over Howard Community College in men’s basketball Wednesday evening.

Edmiston, who hit eight field goals and three free throws, also had a team high five steals for Potomac State (12-1), which is No. 18 in the latest Division II junior college poll.

George Chase added 16 points on 6-for-8 shooting from the field, Travis Brown had 12 points, Torrey Mayo nine points and Daylin Davis nine rebounds and five assists for the Catamounts.

Potomac State led 30-19 at halftime.

Juwan Grant had 15 points and 15 rebounds for Howard (3-13).

Potomac State will play again Saturday at 4 p.m. at Mercyhurst North East.
