Men’s Basketball: Catamounts improve to 6-0 with easy win over New River

DUBLIN, Va. — C.J. Franklin’s 19 points led four Catamounts in double figures as Potomac State improved to 6-0 with an easy111-58  win over New River Saturday on the road.

Franklin made nine field goals and one free throw to finish at 19, while Tyrell Edmiston added 17 points. Travis Brown finished with 15 and Daylin Davis had 14. 

Potomac State pulled away for a 59-35 lead at halftime and then added 52 points in the second.

Distins had a team-high 15 points for New River, while Green finished with 14 on the back of four 3-pointers.

Potomac State travels to play the College of Southern Maryland Tuesday evening.
