Men’s Basketball: PSC’s balanced attack leads to win over Anne Arundel

ARNOLD, MD — Tyrell Edmiston scored 16 points to lead 10 Potomac State scorers as the Catamounts cruised to a 79-52 victory over Anne Arundel in junior college men’s basketball Tuesday evening.

The win was the second in as many starts for Potomac State, which had beaten Prince George’s in its home opener on Saturday.

Torrey Mayo added 12 points and Travis Brown had 11 for the Catamounts, who had six players hit three-point goals. Potomac State led 38-17 at halftime.

Marcus Dentley had 14 points and Wesley Bennett 12 for Anne Arundel (0-1).

Potomac State plays again Friday, against Niagara at 4 p.m., in the David K. Martin Legacy Showcase at Garrett College. On Saturday, the Catamounts will play Clark State at noon.
