Men’s Basketball: Potomac State whips Westmoreland

KEYSER, W.V. — Malcolm Weathers and Justin Milstead had 21 points apiece and Potomac State plowed through Westmoreland on its way to a 102-61 victory Saturday at Dana G. Lough Gymnasium.

A total of five Catamounts scored at least 10 points with Weathers and Milstead leading the way. Weathers recorded eight field goals and went 1-for-2 at the foul line to finish with 21, while Milstead had six field goals and went 6-for-11 at the line. Kyle Jackson finished with 18 points, JR Kerr scored 11 and Nequan Carrington 10.

Potomac State was in command from the tip, building a 23-point lead, 49-26, by halftime. Jordan Johnson scored 16 points for the Wolfpack.

The Catamounts (13-4) play CCBC Catonsville as part of a doubleheader with the women’s team Tuesday at 7 p.m. The Lady Cats play at 5 p.m.
