Men’s Basketball: Barnett leads PSC past Butler

BUTLER, Pa. — Michael Barnett dumped 29 points on Butler and Potomac State continued to create distance from Butler during an 83-69 win Monday at Butler Community College.

Barnett added seven rebounds to his 12 field goals and 5-of-7 showing at the line, helping the Catamounts to 6-2 with their final game before break coming at home Wednesday, 6 p.m., against Hagerstown.

Justin Milstead and Magnus Bjornaa joined Barnett in double figures with Milstead scoring 19 points to go with five steals, five assists and four rebounds. Bjornaa had 11 points hustled the glass from seven rebounds. Nequan Carrington finished with seven points, seven rebounds and four steals.

Butler’s Garrett McHenry put up 26 points to lead all players, and Jake Anderson added 15 more.
