Vinson leads balanced Catamount attack

Donavin Vinson scored 18 points to lead five players in double figures as the Potomac State Catamounts reached the .500 mark with a 101-75 victory over the West Virginia Wesleyan JV team on Thursday evening in Keyser.

Chad Wilson had 14 points and Tony Bethea added 13 for the Catamounts, who improved to 5-5 on the season.

Hosea Berkley had 11 points and D.J. Summers added 10 for PSC, which led 60-34 at the half.

Travis Williams and Emile Payne each added nine points while Kendall Allison chipped in with eight.

Williams and
Berkley each had four assists while Vinson and Keon Scott each had three steals to lead the Cats.

Jordan Watson poured in a game-high 32 points for West Virginia Wesleyan.

Potomac State will return to action this Saturday when it opens play in the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference with a home game against Pitt-Titusville at 2 p.m.
