Hosby leads Potomac State over Glenville State


GLENVILLE,
W.Va. - Vance Hosby's monster night included 42 points and 15 rebounds as he led Potomac State to a win over Glenville State 92-78 Saturday afternoon.

Hosby reached his 42 points by connecting on 17 field goals, and sinking eight of his nine free throws. He had five offensive rebounds in his total of 15.

Donavin Vinson had eight rebounds to go with his 15 points, and Travis Williams finished the night with 11 points and eight boards. Tremayne Matthews pitched in with 10 points.

Glenville got half of its field goals from behind the three-point arc, making a total of 14. Devon Carter drained six on his way to a 20-point effort. Devon Ussgy scored 17 points, and Patrick Monroe added 11.

The Catamounts trailed by three points at halftime before getting hot in the second half. Hosby scored 24 of his 42 in the closing half.

PSC is now 5-5, and will Glenville again on Dec. 2 in Keyser.
