Potomac State knocks off Prince George.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD - Travis Williams led four scorers in double figures with 19 points as Potomac State knocked off Prince George 81-76.

The Catamounts evened their record at 4-4. The Owls, defending Region XX Division II champs, lost in their home opener.

Williams hit five field goals, with three being three-pointers, was perfect in six trips to the foul line and also dished out a team-high six assists for Potomac State.

Dalec Cromwell added 15 points, Vance Hosby had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Donavin Vinson had 11 points. Marcus Quarles chipped in with eight points.

"This was a good win for us on the road, especially with so many freshmen," said Potomac State coach Shawn White

Williams and Vinson are the Catamounts' only sophomores.

Johnson had a game-high 24 points for Prince George's. Persaud had 21 points and Buckner 16.

Potomac State hosts Dundalk at the Lough Gymnasium on Friday at 6 o'clock.
