Men’s Cross Country: Catamounts ranked 9th in NJCAA latest poll

The Potomac State Men's Cross Country program continue their rise on the national stage. In the week 8 NJCAA DIII Cross Country National Polls the Catamounts come in ranked 9th heading into the Region XX Championships.

Defending national champion Harper College remains atop the poll for the eighth consecutive week followed by Howard College in 2nd.

The Catamounts in their inaugural season are led by Berkeley Springs, WV freshman standout Zac Simmons, the Keyser, WV trio of Josh Myers, Pierce Miller and Wesley Minshall. Also contributing are Dennis Brown (Baltimore, MD) and Zachary Green (Washington, DC).

Potomac State Head Coach Ian Hankins said, "I'm extremely proud with the way that our men have worked all year. When we first broke through the top ten a few weeks ago we were up to the challenge and continued to get better each day. I look forward to the regional championships and we are ready to challenge #2 Howard for a championship on Saturday."

Potomac State is back in action on Saturday, October 25th for the Region XX Championships in Arnold, MD.
