Keyser, WV- Justin Winebrenner and Zachary Saylor of Mountain Ridge High School, recently signed letters of intent to attend Potomac State College of West Virginia University, where they will play on the Catamount’s Soccer team. According to Men’s Soccer Coach Ray Kiddy, he recruited the young players not only for their prowess on the soccer field, but also for their personal character and academic ability in the classroom.

Saylor, who is a three-year starter and served as captain for the Miners, broke the single season record for assists at 12, which still stands today. Saylor plans to major in engineering.

Winebrenner, who is also a three-year starter and serves as captain, was voted a first-team All-AMAC selection and the team’s MVP. He plans on majoring in pre-pharmacy.
