Stottlemyer signs with Potomac State Soccer

Clayton Stottlemyer, a graduate of Smithsburg High School located in Smithsburg, Md., recently signed a letter of intent to attend Potomac State College of West Virginia University, where he will play on the Catamount’s Soccer team.

Stottlemyer played in the positions of sweeper and midfielder as well as serving as team captain during his junior and senior years. He has been named to the First Team All-Monocacy Valley Athletic League, First Team All-Washington County and First Team All-County Coaches Team. Stottlemyer plans to major in physical education with an emphasis in athletic coaching. He is the son of Kelly and Roy Stottlemyer, Jr.
