Men's Soccer: PSC hands Howard its 1st loss

KEYSER, W.Va. —Zachary Saylor and Brandon Cutter provided the offense for Potomac State last Saturday during a 2-1 win over Howard in Region XX soccer action.
The Catamounts (13-1) handed the Dragons their first loss against Region XX competition and improved to 5-1 in the process. Howard is 4-1 in the Region.
Nicholas Billamy gave the Dragons a 1-0 edge on an unassisted goal at 8:58 of the opening half. Saylor evened the count at 22:57 with an unassisted goal of his own.
The tie was broken in the second half when Cutter scored an unassisted goal at 33:10.
Conor Fungaroli stopped eight shots in PSC’s goal, with Mentael Aldemicky getting nine saves for Howard.
The Catamounts held a 9-4 advantage in corner kicks and a 14-12 lead in shots.
