KEYSER, W.Va. — Garrett Kiddy scored the tying goal and Chris Ranker got the go-ahead goal and an insurance one to boot as the Potomac State offense came to life in the second half to rally the Catamounts to a 3-1 win over Northern Virginia in college men’s soccer Sunday afternoon.

Potomac State’s three goals came in a span of 18 minutes and kept coach Ray Kiddy’s team unbeaten through seven games.

Abdelillah Boudisa had the only first half goal, putting Northern Virginia up with an unassisted goal 26:52 into the match.

Kiddy got the equalizer, scoring on a feed from Gudie Guzman at the 63:50 mark.

Ranker, who entered the game No. 6 in the nation among JUCO Division III scorers, gave the Catamounts the lead with an unassisted goal at 70:10, then made it 3-1 with another unassisted goal 11 minutes later.

Justin Winebrenner excelled defensively for Potomac State, which led in shots, 20-9, and in corner kicks, 10-4. Conor Fungaroli made five saves in goal.
