Men’s Soccer: Potomac State improves to 8-0

MIDDLETOWN, VA. — Potomac State College scored twice in each half, collecting a 4-0 victory over Lord Fairfax Community College on Thursday.

Austin Parker opened up the scoring at the 4:02 mark. Ryan Mowrey scored at 22:09 off an assist from Brandon Jones.

Gabe Kiddy opened up the scoring in the second half off an assist from Austin Campbell. Campbell added another assist when Brett Vanderhout recorded the Catamounts’ final goal at the 79:15 mark.

Potomac State led in shots (9-3) and corner kicks (5-1). Alec Sproule had two saves and Chris Orwig made one save for the Catamounts.

The Catamounts (8-0) play again today in a Region XX matchup at Northern Virginia Community College.
