Men’s Soccer: Sisler leads Catamounts past Blue Ridge

WEYERS CAVE, Va. — Tyler Sisler scored a goal and assisted on the other two as Potomac State snapped a three-game skid by beating Blue Ridge Community College 3-1.

Sisler put the Catamounts on the board in the opening minutes on an assist from Rhys Fing.

It remained a 1-0 lead until Blue Ridge’s Lozano Sergio tied it with a goal with 36:20 to go. Fing put the Catamounts back on top by scoring on Sisler’s assist with just over 22 minutes left. Hunter Brown scored with 10 minutes to play on Sisler’s second assist of the half.

Potomac State led in shots 16-6 and in corners 9-2. Alex Sproule made three saves and Kevin Riley had one in goal for the Catamounts (6-5), who play at Allegany on Wednesday at 4 p.m. and then host Lord Fairfax on Friday at 4:00.
