Men’s Soccer: Romine, Sisler lead Potomac State to 4-0 win

KEYSER, W.Va. — Dylan Romine and Tyler Sisler both scored two goals, with Sisler assisting on two more and Romine one as the Potomac State College Catamounts dominated Westmoreland County Community College, 4-0, in Region XX action Wednesday at Stayman Field.

Romine scored the first goal of the match at 33:32 of the half on an assist by Sisler. Sisler then made it 2-0 at 30:21 on a Rhys Fing assist, before Romine scored on another Sisler assist at 11:17 to make it 3-0 at the half.

Sisler scored the final goal, this one at 36:22 of the second half, on an assist by Romine.

Potomac State outshot Westmoreland, 14-7, and had a 7-6 edge in corner kicks.

Shawn Poth had seven saves for Westmoreland, while Aleck Sproule and Kevin Riley combined for the shutout for Potomac State, with Sproule saving three shots and Riley four.

Potomac State (3-2 overall, 1-1 Region XX) will play Saturday, 1 p.m., at Patrick Henry College in Virginia. Westmoreland is 0-1 in Region XX play.
