Men’s Soccer: Howard downs PSC, 2-1

Ezekiel Ebenezer scored twice, leading Howard to a 2-1 win over Potomac State Friday afternoon in Region 20 action.

Ebenezer opened the scoring at the 28:59 mark in the first half on an assist from Neosystos Konstantinou.

The Catamounts equalized via Austin Graham five minutes and 31 seconds later. Tyler Sisler, who stood out defensively with Kevin Gamble for the Catamounts, had the assist on the goal.

Ebenezer scored the game-winner with just over nine minutes to play, with Oluwatobi Osifeso picking up the assist.

The Dragons held the advantage in shots, 22-15, and corner kicks, 5-4. Caleb Ryan made nine saves for Potomac State. Andre Dachao recorded seven stops for Howard (3-0 Region 20).

Potomac State (4-5-2 overall, 1-1 Region 20) will host Anne Arundel on Sunday, Oct. 16, at 1 p.m.
