Romine's late goal lifts Catamounts

KEYSER, W.Va. — Potomac State came from behind twice to overcome Penn State Beaver, 3-2, Monday evening at Stayman Field 

The Nittany Lions opened the scoring via Anthony Voss six minutes and 40 seconds into the game.

Tyler Sisler drew the Catamounts level at the 21:55 mark on an unassisted goal.

Julius Illiano put Penn State Beaver back on top just under 11 minutes into the second half. Darrion Gilmore assisted on the goal.

Jakob Dale scored 20 minutes later to tie things, 2-2

Dylan Romine, who assisted Dale, scored the unassisted game-winner with two minutes and 28 seconds remaining in the game.

Potomac State (3-4-1) has now gone 3-1-1 in its last five games after starting the season with three straight losses.

The Catamounts led in corner kicks, 4-3, but trailed in shots, 7-5. Caleb Ryan made five stops for Potomac State. William Derry recorded four saves for Penn State Beaver (4-3-1).

Potomac State will host Patrick Henry College on Thursday, 6 p.m.
