Potomac State College Athletic Training

Amanda Cox is in her first year as the Head Athletic Trainer at Potomac State College of West Virginia University. Amanda Cox

A native of Chambersburg, PA, Cox is a 2007 graduate of Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania earning her Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Athletic Training.  After finishing at Lock Haven in December of 2006, she accepted an Intern position at Auburn University in Alabama, working with the nationally ranked womenęs gymnastics and softball teams.

Cox's responsibilities include providing athletic training coverage for all 8 inter-collegiate sports, supervising student athletic trainers, and teaching First Aid and Emergency Care (CHPR 172) and Sports Injury Control and Management (ATTR 121).
